For the 2nd year, the innovative training program “GenAI Empowered Educators”, continues to support primary and secondary school teachers across Greece, regardless of their subject area, in order to develop the skills to effectively and responsibly use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, enhancing their teaching practice and the overall learning experience.

The program “GenAI Education Frontier” is an initiative by The Tipping Point and 100mentors, winners of the “Generative AI Skills Challenge” by data.org, supported by Microsoft, among 600 applications from 93 countries. Through their participation, over 1,120 educators, representing 27 different subject areas, were equipped with the necessary skills to integrate GenAI into their daily workflows and enhance their teaching practice.

The program “Digital/core skills in the age of GenerativeAI” was designed in 2022, following the emergence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, to familiarize secondary education students and educators with the capabilities and limitations of GenAI. Participants gain insights into how the future job market is evolving, while developing essential soft skills linked to the effective use of these new technologies. In doing so, they gain a competitive advantage in fostering creative and responsible human–machine collaboration.
